The Problem

SourceX is a SaaS platform that enables companies to license their operational data to AI research labs. It acts as an enterprise data transaction layer that automates sourcing, rights verification, de‑identification, contract generation, delivery and payment. The platform ingests metadata about a company’s records from supported systems (e.g., Zendesk, Salesforce, GitHub, SharePoint, NetSuite) and builds a scoped dataset definition. Automated checks evaluate the legal rights and estimate the data’s value, then a privacy module strips personal identifiers. Each step—Supply, Rights, Preparation, Approval, Delivery—is logged and requires explicit company approval before proceeding. After the company signs the generated agreement, SourceX transfers the prepared dataset to the selected AI lab and issues a one‑time fee to the data owner. The service also provides a trust center, legal framework, and optional exclusivity clauses defined in the contract.
