It removes the need for local GPU‑heavy upscaling software, subscription licenses, and hidden processing costs, letting users upscale short clips to 4K directly from a browser with transparent credit pricing.
Video2X is a web‑based AI video upscaler that takes an input clip and generates a higher‑resolution MP4 by processing each frame on server‑side GPUs. The user uploads an MP4, MOV, MKV, AVI or WebM file (up to 10 minutes), selects a target resolution (1080p, 2K or 4K) and an enhancement mode (Standard, Pro, Restoration, Denoise, Deblock, Animation, Face Enhance, Frame Interpolation). The service estimates the credit cost and render time before the job starts, then runs the chosen model chain on the cloud, preserving the original audio and frame rate unless interpolation is enabled. Credits are deducted per second of output; 30 free credits are granted on signup for short test renders. The output is delivered as a watermark‑free MP4 and can be downloaded directly. No local GPU, drivers or installation are required, and the interface works in any modern browser on macOS, Windows, Linux or ChromeOS.
